Privacy policy

Dernière mise à jour : October 18, 2026

At Mangio, we take your personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect on mangio.ca, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in line with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

Person in charge of personal information protection

The person responsible for personal information protection at Mangio can be reached at contact@mangio.ca.

Information we collect

  • "Request a quote" form: your name, your restaurant's name, your phone number, your email, the type of service you want and your message.
  • Chat assistant demo: the messages you write during the trial.
  • Voice call demo: your voice and the conversation during the trial call, only if you allow the microphone.
  • Technical data: basic information needed to run and secure the site (for example your IP address, to limit abuse).

Please don't share sensitive information in the demos: they only exist to try our tools with a fictional restaurant.

Why we use it

  • To answer your quote request and get back to you.
  • To run the demos and generate the AI's answers.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your information and we don't use it for other purposes without your consent.

Service providers

To provide these services, we rely on providers that may process your information outside Quebec: site hosting, email delivery (Resend), and artificial intelligence models for the chat assistant and the voice (ElevenLabs). They process information only to provide us the service, with adequate safeguards.

Retention

  • Quote requests: kept as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Demo conversations: not kept by Mangio beyond the session, subject to our providers' technical retention periods.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your personal information, have it corrected, or withdraw your consent and ask for its deletion. Write to us at contact@mangio.ca; we answer within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

Security and incidents

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we notify the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.
